Call for Abstracts: Avicanna’s 5th Medical Symposium on Cannabinoid-Based Medicine

June 6th, 2025 | Toronto, Canada

We invite abstract submissions for poster presentations that highlight original research, clinical experiences, and forward-thinking innovations across the cannabinoid medicine spectrum.

Submission Guidelines

  • Abstract Length: 250–300 words (excluding title/authors)
  • Format:
    • Abstracts must be structured into five sections: Title, Rationale, Methods, Results, and Conclusions
    • The maximum word count is 300 words, excluding title, authors, affiliations, and funding sources
    • Include funding sources, abbreviations, and references (Note: These will not count towards the final word count)
    • Institutional information must be provided for all authors
    • Figures, tables, and other illustrations are not permitted in the submission
    • Data previously presented at other meetings is eligible for consideration
    • Posters must be submitted by one of the study authors or investigators; third-party submissions will not be accepted
  • Deadline: April 28, 2025 (11:59 PM EST)
  • Eligibility: Open to researchers, clinicians, policymakers, and industry experts
  • Review Process: Peer-reviewed for scientific merit, innovation, and relevance
  • Notification of Acceptance: May 9, 2025, by 5:00 PM EST
